On November 26, the "2025 Wuzhen Forum on Responsible Business Conduct and Corporate Culture" (hereinafter referred to as the "Forum") was successfully held at the Wuzhen Internet International Convention and Exhibition Center in Tongxiang City, Zhejiang Province. The Forum brought together senior professionals from various fields including UN agencies, academia, business community, industry associations and news media. In the opening session, Mr. Sun Lihui, Vice President of Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co., Ltd., delivered a speech on behalf of the organizer. Mr. Chen Xuehua, Chairman of Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co., Ltd., and Professor Chang Jian, Director of the Human Rights Research Center of Nankai University, delivered opening remarks on behalf of the business community and academia respectively. The Center for International Economic and Legal Studies of Shanghai Jiao Tong University participated in the conference as a supporting organization.

The Forum explored themes such as "Development Trends of ESG and Supply Chain Due Diligence Management" and "Latest Trends of Global Sustainable Development Norms" in the morning and afternoon sessions respectively. Associate Professor Zhang Guobin, Assistant Dean of KoGuan School of Law of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, served as a discussant in the first unit of the morning session. He opined that enterprises should adopt an "international law mindset" to build a supply chain due diligence system, which not only complies with international rules but also bases on China's reality. On the path of "responsible business conduct", enterprises ought to forge a Chinese path featuring "compliance + value".

This Forum has effectively facilitated the formation of a cognitive framework and provided methodological support for Chinese enterprises going global to respond to complex international norms and integrate into local cultural ecosystems.
