At the beginning of 2025, the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings by Subject were officially released, with KoGuan School of Law at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) ranked 39th globally. In the recently announced QS World University Rankings by Subject, KoGuan School of Law was ranked 47th.

Being listed among the global Top 50 in both the THE and QS rankings highlights the continued progress of SJTU's Law discipline and its growing international influence. Encouraged by this achievement, KoGuan School of Law at Shanghai Jiao Tong University will continue to learn from peer institutions and further strengthen its efforts in faculty development, cultivating foreign-related legal talent, organized research, internationalization, and public service. These initiatives aim to contribute to the high-quality development of legal education in China.
