The second meeting of the KoGuan Development Fund Management Committee was convened on November 5th by KoGuan School of Law, in Room 203 of the Leo KoGuan Law Building at the Xuhui campus. Ding Kuiling, the President of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, chaired the meeting and was accompanied by Leo KoGuan, Chairman of the Leo KoGuan Foundation. Gu Feng, Executive Deputy Secretary of the SJTU Party Committee, Zheng Chengliang, Senior Professor in the School of Humanities, Gu Guoying, Deputy Director of the Human Resources Office, Wu Wenfeng, Director of the Office of Humanities Construction, and Yu Yang, Deputy Secretary-General of the Education Development Foundation, along with other attendees such as KoGuan School of Law’s Dean Peng Chengxin, Party Secretary Wang Houji, and faculty representative Guo Yanjun, were present.

Peng Chengxin presented a comprehensive report on the development of the KoGuan School of Law and the KoGuan Development Fund projects for the period 2018-2023. He expressed gratitude for the substantial support from the university and the caring assistance provided by Professor Leo KoGuan and the Leo KoGuan Foundation. Peng emphasized the school's commitment to implementing the university's strategic plans, focusing on quality construction, deepening connotative development, enhancing core competitiveness, exploring new avenues, strengthening its capabilities to serve the country and Shanghai, and promoting high-quality development in talent cultivation and academic research. The school is steadfastly moving towards its goal of becoming a world-class law school, contributing to the innovative development of the KoGuan School of Law.

During the meeting, the committee also deliberated and approved proposals for the adjustment and supplementation of committee members, the revised draft of the Charter of the KoGuan School of Law KoGuan Development Fund Management Committee, and the financial statements for the KoGuan Development Fund (2018-2022) as well as the budget reports for 2023 and 2024.
