Program Description

The "KoGuan-Stanford Scholarship" program was established in cooperation with the Leo Koguan Foundation and Stanford University Law School. The program officially launched in 2020 to support graduates of KoGuan School of Law in pursuing an LLM degree at Stanford University Law School.

Funding Requirements

1. The program is open to students and alumni who have obtained a law degree from KoGuan School of Law, including undergraduate, master, and doctoral students.

2. Program applicants need to obtain an admission notice for Stanford University Law School's LLM program.

3. Applicants need to pass an interview organized by KoGuan School of Law and KoGuan International Rule of Law and Principle Center and obtain written consent.

Application Procedures

1.  Applicants must first apply to Stanford University Law School to obtain an admission notice for the LLM program. For specific requirements and procedures, please refer to: https://law.stanford.edu/education/degrees/advanced-degree-programs. Applicants will also need to submit two personal statements (in English) to the KoGuan International Rule of Law and Principle Center through email: jenniferfan@leokoguanfoundation.org.

2. After being admitted to Stanford University Law School's LLM program, you must submit a written financial assistance statement to the KoGuan School of Law, KoGuan International Rule of Law and Principle Center and Stanford University Law School.

3. Applicants will participate in an interview organized by the KoGuan School of Law and KoGuan International Rule of Law and Principle Center in accordance with relevant requirements.
