To strengthen the development of Shanghai's intellectual property talent team and improve the overall intellectual property talent training system, the Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration recently announced the first group of Shanghai intellectual property training bases. Shanghai Jiao Tong University was recognized as part of the first group selected to act as a Shanghai intellectual property training base.

The KoGuan School of Law has focused on the implementation of China's innovation-driven development strategy aimed at fostering China's reputation as a country with strong intellectual property rights. In support of this goal, Shanghai Jiao Tong University established the Intellectual Property and Competition Law Academy in 2016.

KoGuan School of Law will strengthen the training of intellectual property professionals, strive to improve the capabilities of intellectual property professionals, and contribute to Shanghai's development as a leader at the forefront of international intellectual property protection.
