Professor Oleg Vladimirovich Zaitsev, Dean of the Higher School of Law at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA), recently visited KoGuan School of Law at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Professor Peng Chengxin, Dean of KoGuan School of Law, extended a warm welcome and held friendly exchanges and discussions with the visiting delegation. The meeting was also attended by Associate Professor Zhang Guobin, Assistant Dean; Yin Lan, Deputy Director of the International Office; and other faculty members.
 

During the meeting, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on topics including joint talent cultivation, student exchange programs, and the collaborative development of online courses. Preliminary consensus was reached on future directions for cooperation. Both parties expressed their commitment to leveraging this visit as an opportunity to promote substantive collaboration in legal education and to elevate Sino-Russian academic exchanges in the field of law to a new level.
The year 2026 marks the launch of the "China-Russia Year of Education." This meeting represents an important initiative by KoGuan School of Law to respond to the series of initiatives under the China-Russia Year of Education and to deepen cooperative exchanges with Russian universities.

The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) is the only educational institution in Russia directly under the jurisdiction of the President of the Russian Federation. It is a leading university in the fields of socio-economic and human sciences in Russia and Europe, with over 200,000 students, making it the largest higher education institution in Russia. Its Higher School of Law holds significant influence in the Russian legal community.
