From May 15 to 16, Professor Peng Chengxin, Dean of KoGuan School of Law, and Associate Professor Zhang Guobin, Assistant Dean and Director of the International Office, visited The Education University of Hong Kong upon invitation. They attended the 2nd Harvard-EdUHK-Stanford Joint Forum on Emerging Technologies and Future Talents and witnessed the signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding between the two institutions.

On the morning of May 15, the two representatives formally signed the memorandum of understanding with the Faculty of Applied Policy Studies and Futures Education of EdUHK. The two sides reached consensus on faculty and student exchanges, joint training and academic research.

During the forum, Professor Peng delivered a keynote speech entitled Practical Dilemmas and Solutions in the Training of Digital Law Talents, sharing innovative practices in talent cultivation. As a panel speaker, Associate Professor Zhang discussed the application and impact of artificial intelligence in legal education.

The delegation took part in all academic sessions and conducted in-depth discussions with experts at home and abroad. The visit boosted the school’s academic influence in interdisciplinary fields including digital law and artificial intelligence law, laying a solid foundation for cultivating foreign-related legal talents, deepening international cooperation and building a world-class law school.

The delegation also met and held talks with local alumni, learning about their career development in Hong Kong.
