The 2022 China International Law of the Sea Moot Court Competition (ILOSMCC) officially ended on November 13. After 4-month preparation, the Moot Team of KoGuan School of Law made the Second Runner-up and won the first prize, with the team coach Prof. Guifang Xue awarded the "Best Coach". The achievement would have not been possible without the joint efforts of the members of the Moot Team since the announcement of the Case in July 2022. In the oral rounds, the Moot team's oralists were praised by the judges for their confident, well-thought and well-founded arguments.

The Moot Team was coached by Prof. Guifang Xue and the student coach Chongkai Xu. Yang Yang and Hongao Zhu served as oralists, and Fangying Li, Jiaqi Feng and Zhiyuan Zhang were responsible for the research work.
