The Second Young Teacher Teaching Competition was successfully held on November 16, 2022. The competition was jointly held by the Teaching Affair Office and Sub-Center for Teaching and Learning Development of KoGuan School of Law, composed of expert judges Lijuan Wang from SJTU Center for Teaching and Learning Development, Prof. Bo Fan from SJTU School of International and Public Affairs, Prof. Xianlin Wang, Prof. Jiaxiang Hu and Prof. Hongzhen Jiang from KoGuan School of Law. The competition was presided over by Ye Yuan, director of the Office of Teaching Affairs. Prof. Rui Zhang, deputy director of the Center for the Development of Teaching and Learning, delivered the online opening speech.

Four young teachers, Jie Wang, Yunxi Chen, Bo Cao and Yuxiao Huang, participated in the competition. Each participant delivered a 20-minute teaching presentation and a 5-minute instructional reflection in turn. After each presentation, the five expert judges made targeted comments and offered advice and guidance to the young teachers about their teaching.

In the end, Dean Chengxin Peng gave a concluding speech. With more than twenty years of teaching experience, he encouraged all young teachers to continue improving teaching quality and skills. He also expressed his hope that they would have the opportunity to represent the university in higher level competitions and showcase the plenty of talent of the young faculty members of KoGuan Law School.
