20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) opened at 10 am at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on October 16, 2022. Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, on behalf of the 19th CPC Central Committee, delivered to the Congress a report titled “Hold High the Great Banner of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics and Strive in Unity to Build a Modern Socialist Country in All Respects”.

In Room 208, East Hall of KoGuan School of Law, the Party and government team, Party members and representatives of teachers and students of KoGuan School of Law collectively watched the live broadcast of the opening session. Party branches also organized teachers and students to watch the opening session through online and offline ways to experience the great achievements and fighting spirit of the people under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.

After watching the opening session of the 20th CPC National Congress with great attention, all Party members are in unanimous agreement that the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China is a meeting of great importance. It takes place at a critical time as the entire Party and the Chinese people of all ethnic groups embark on a new journey to build China into a modern socialist country in all respects and advance toward the Second Centenary Goal. Xi’s Report inspired Party members of KoGuan School of Law and shows the bright prospects of the Party and China.

Teachers and students of KoGuan School of Law are fully aware of the important responsibility for "implementing the Strategy of Revitalizing China through Science and Education " and “pursuing law-based governance in all respects in a socialist country that follows the rule of law”. Teachers and Students expressed their willingness to work hard for the great cause of the Party in fields of scientific research, talent cultivation and serving the major strategies of China based on the professional expertise.

The Party Committee of KoGuan School of Law attaches great importance to the study and implementation of the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, and will further study by forming studying groups, inviting experts to give key interpretations, organizing teachers and students to study together and other forms to ensure that all Party members understand the spirit of the Congress in detail.
