In September 2022, the Xuhui Campus of SJTU was full of teachers and students returned after a six-month absence. In order to follow the national and Shanghai epidemic prevention and control policies, and to implement SJTU epidemic prevention and control deployment for the new semester, KoGuan School of Law built a volunteer team to take on the task of taking nucleic acid sampling. Since the beginning of the fall semester in 2022, more than 30 students and faculty from KoGuan School of Law have completed 15 half days of nucleic acid sampling taking at sampling sites, which contributes to the overall epidemic prevention work in Xuhui Campus.

For each morning session at 8:00 a.m. and the mid-day session at 12:00 p.m., our volunteers arrived at the sampling site 40 minutes in advance. After putting on protective gears following the strict procedures, they entered the sampling booth to debug the equipment and started the nucleic acid sampling taking for the session. The meticulous and skillful sampling work of volunteers reflects their strong sense of responsibility and high level execution.

To achieve the convergence of the whole nucleic acid sampling work in Xuhui Campus, the volunteer team of KoGuan School of Law also conducted a full sampling process demonstration and guidance for the volunteer teams of other departments in the next round of rotation.
