Recently, the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Justice announced the list of legislative experts of the Shanghai Municipal Government. Prof. Shen Guoming, Prof. Ye Bifeng and Prof. Lin Yan of KoGuan School of Law have been appointed as members of the Legislative Expert Database of Shanghai Municipal Government.

The establishment of the legislative expert database of Shanghai Municipal Government is one of the most important initiative for the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Justice in implementing the rule of law.  The 30 members of the organization will focus on legislative work and provide professional and intellectual support for local legislation, which will improve the level of urban governance of Shanghai.

Scholars of  KoGuan School of Law have made active advice and counsel in the process of building the rule of law in Shanghai. The appointment is a high recognition of the academic level and influence of the scholars of the KoGuan School of Law, which will make the KoGuan School of Law play a further active role in the scientific and democratic legislation of Shanghai.
