Description of the Event:
The main purpose of the event is to invite two distinguished guest speakers that practice law in China to share their experience in practicing law in China. The students and guests will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and exchange their thought on Chinese law; and importantly they will have an opportunity to receive important insights from a successful foreign lawyer in China. Mr. Charles Stone (Managing Associate at Morgan Lewis, Shanghai) will talk about what Chinese language tells us about the Chinese attitude towards law, and Mr Asen Velion (International Council at Co-Effort Law Firm) will address and discuss the positive and negative aspects of starting a legal career in China.
