On the morning of October 20, a delegation led by Professor Jason P. Nance, Dean of the School of Law at Southern Methodist University (SMU, USA), visited the KoGuan School of Law, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Professor Peng Chengxin, Dean of KoGuan School of Law, received the guests at the Leo KoGuan Law Building on the Xuhui Campus, and the two sides held a cordial and friendly discussion. During the meeting, both parties introduced the development history of their respective schools and their international cooperation initiatives. They expressed that they would take this exchange as an opportunity to make full use of the resources of both sides to promote exchanges and open a new chapter of cooperation. Professor Guo Yanjun, Vice Dean, and Associate Professor Zhang Guobin, Assistant Dean, among others, participated in the reception.

In the afternoon, the School of Law at Southern Methodist University held a special information session on its LL.M. program in Conference Room 205 of the Main Building of KoGuan School of Law on the Xuhui Campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The session focused on explaining the key application requirements, academic advantages, and career development prospects of the LL.M. program at SMU School of Law.
