On December 2nd, Shen Guoming, Chair Professor of KoGuan School of Law , gave a special lecture at Minhang Campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University with the topic "Will you hang back in the face of the difficulty of rule of law?" Professor Shen Guoming began from the basic concepts of law, moving through the current status of law enforcement, realizing the rule of law, telling students about typical problems in the construction of the rule of law. He opined on the aspects of "what is law", "the role of law", and "interest-driven analysis", emphasizing the importance of the value of law.

The lecture is the opening event of “Shanghai Jiao Tong University’s Tenth Legal Publicity Month”, and it aims to guide young students to gain a foothold in their majors. Through this lecture, the students have learnt how to use practical actions to contribute to the process of the comprehensive rule of law.
