From Shanghai Pudong Airport

Getting to the Minhang Campus:

Route 1: Take Airport Bus Line 3 to Xujiahui/Tianping Road (RMB¥ 18 /person), take Metro Line 1 and transfer to Line 5 (For detailed direction, see the subway section);

Route 2: Take Maglev Demonstration Line (RMB¥ 50 / RMB¥ 40 with flight ticket) to Longyang Road Metro Station, and then take Metro (Line 2, transfer to Line 1 and then to Line 5);

Route 3: Take taxi for about RMB¥ 180(daytime) or RMB¥ 240(night, plus 30% night extra charge if after 11:00 PM).

Getting to the Xuhui Campus:

Route 1: Take taxi for about 50 min. Normal taxi charge is about RMB¥ 220(daytime) or RMB¥300(night, plus 30% night extra charge if after 11:00 PM);

Route 2: Take Airport Bus Line No.3 to Xujiahui/Tianping Road. It takes about 1 hour and bus ticket costs RMB¥ 18. From bus stop to SJTU, it takes about 15min by foot or 3~5 min by taxi. Walking direction: after taking off the Airport Bus Line 3, go along the bus direction for 100m, turn right at the cross, go along Tianping Rd. for 2 blocks (about 500m), after reaching Guangyuan Rd., turn left and go along Guangyuan Rd for 200m, cross Huashan Rd. Turn right about 30m and you will see the main gate of SJTU Xuhui Campus (with two stone lions);

Route 3: Take Maglev Demonstration Line (RMB¥ 50/ RMB¥ 40 with flight ticket) to Longyang Road Metro Station, and then take Metro Line 2 to Xujiahui Station. Use Exit No. 12. Go straightly ahead along the Huashan road for about 800 meters. You will find the main entrance on your left hand.

 

From Shanghai Hongqiao Airport and Railway Station

Getting to the Minhang Campus:

Route 1: Take Airport Special Line Route No.806 to Xujiahui, then take Metro Line 1 and transfer to Line 5 (For detailed direction, see the subway section);

Route 2: Take taxi for about RMB¥ 80(daytime) or RMB¥ 110(night, plus 30% night extra charge if after 11:00 PM).

Getting to the Xuhui Campus:

Route 1: Take taxi for about 25 min. Normal taxi charge is RMB¥ 40(daytime), or RMB¥50(night, plus 30% night extra charge if after 11:00 PM;

Route 2: Take Airport Special Line Route No.806 to Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Bus ticket costs RMB¥ 3.

Route 3: Take Metro line 10 to Jiao Tong University Station.

 

Subway

Getting to Minhang Campus:

1) Take Metro Line 1, and

2) Transit to Metro Line 5 at Xinzhuang (the terminal station of Line 1).

3) Get out of the train at Dongchuan Road Station of Metro Line 5.

4) The campus is less than 2000 meters away from the station, from which you may take SJTU's shuttle to reach on-campus destinations, or take a taxi (RMB¥ 14 or less), or ask for direction and walk for about 15 minutes.

Getting to Xuhui Campus:

Take Metro No. 1, 9 and 11 to Xujiahui Station and use Exit No. 12. Go straightly ahead along the Huashan road for about 800 meters. You will find the main entrance on your left hand.

Take Metro No. 10 and 11 to Jiao Tong University Station.

Bus

Getting to Minhang Campus:

You can take buses Xumin Line, Xumin Night Line, Dongchuan Special Line, Jiangchuan Line 3, Minxin Line, Shenmin Special Line, Shangcang Line, Songmin Line, Longshao Special Line, Baoqian Special Line, Xinhai Special Line, Nanjia Line, Nanmin Special Line, Minhong Line, Minwu Line, Xinnan Special Line;

Getting to Xuhui Campus:

You can take buses nos. 72, 76, 112, 126, 138, 506, 572, 754, 827, 855, 911, 920, 923, 926.

 

SJTU Shuttle Bus

1) Minhang Campus Shuttle: SJTU operates a free shuttle bus service that circles Minhang campus Monday to Friday. It takes about 25 minutes for one circle. Here are the routine and the schedule of the campus shuttle.

2) Shuttle between Xuhui and Minhang Campuses: SJTU also operates a shuttle bus service that shuttles between Xuhui and Minhang campuses. Priority is given to faculty; students should arrive early. The Minhang campus bus station is on Si Yuan West Rd across from the No. 1 Cafeteria. The Xuhui campus bus station is adjacent to the Library building. Here is the schedule.

3) Shuttle between Metro Line 5 and Minhang Campuse: SJTU offers a shuttle bus service between Jingjing Tang Square at the main gate of Minhang Campus and the Metro Line 5 Dongchuan Road Station. From Jingjing Tang Square, you can take the Minhang campus shuttle to your campus destination.
