A number of SJTU-funded Post-Doctoral Research Fellow positions are immediately available in Shanghai Jiao Tong University KoGuan Law School, Shanghai, China. New and recent PhDs in Law are encouraged for the positions.

The successful applicants will be part of our collaborative and interdisciplinary law faculty. The Post-Doctoral Research Fellow will be responsible for teaching and research in various fields of law, including legal systems of the BRICS countries, laws of Asian countries, ocean and maritime law, financial law, law and society. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the faculty members and will have the opportunity to contribute to a range of projects.

A PhD in law (or SJD, JSD) or related discipline with outstanding academic performance in a top university are required. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong academic record, e.g., a strong publication record. Communication and organizational skills, writing ability, and English or Chinese proficiency are essential.

SJTU KoGuan Law School offers an excellent working and studying environment.  A typical appointment for post-doctorate fellowship is for three-years.
