KoGuan School of Law Visited Yale Law School

On June 13th, KoGuan School of Law, led by Professor Peng Chengxin, the Dean, visited the University of Yale Law School. Professor Lin Xifen, Vice Dean, Professor Guo Yanjun, Vice Dean, Associate Professor He Juan, Assistant Dean, and Fu Yuanyuan from the Office of Party and Government Affairs also participated in this visit. Jamie P. Horsley, Senior Fellow of the Paul Tsai China Center at Yale Law School, Darius Longarino, Senior Fellow of the Paul Tsai China Center at Yale Law School, Professor Zhang Taisu of Yale Law School, and Changhao Wei, Research Fellow of the Paul Tsai China Center at Yale Law School, warmly welcome the KoGuan School of Law.

Dean Peng highlighted the history, academic programs, faculty expertise, and international achievements of KoGuan Law School. Jamie P. Horsley provided an overview of the Paul Tsai China Center's research focus and distinctive features.

The two sides reviewed academic collaboration and delved into future initiatives such as co-hosting academic conferences, scholar exchanges, and training for international legal professionals. They also discussed setting up a regular exchange mechanism to facilitate collaboration between both institutions and their interactions with the Shanghai legal community.

The visit strengthened ties between KoGuan Law School, Yale Law School, and the Paul Tsai China Center. It bolstered KoGuan Law School’s international profile, laid the groundwork for ongoing theoretical research, and offered valuable insights for advancing legal education and developing international legal expertise.
