Wu Shicun, President of the National Institute for South China Sea Studies and Chairman of Board of Directors of China-Southeast Asia Research Center on South China Sea, was appointed Guest Professor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

At the appointment ceremony held on November 18 at KoGuan School of Law, Gu Feng, Deputy Party Secretary of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, awarded Mr. Wu the certificate of appointment and the school badge. Jiang Sixian, former Party Secretary of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, administrative members of KoGuan School of Law, and faculty representatives also attended the ceremony.

Mr. Wu expressed how he looks forward to fully performing his duty as Guest Professor and devoting himself to contributing to the discipline and legal education, contributing to SJTU's research and work on the maritime strategy.
