Liam Lambert Awarded 2020 Outstanding International Student Scholarship by the Ministry of Education

The Outstanding International Student Scholarship of the Ministry of Education is a prestigious annual award for full-time international students in the second (and above) year of undergraduate or graduate, marking the highest honor granted to international students in China. The scholarship is evaluated once a year, and the list of winners will be confirmed by the Ministry of Education and evaluated by experts organized by Ministry of Education after the candidates are proposed by each university. The Outstanding International Student Scholarship aims to select and motivate foreign students in China who know China well, have excellent moral character and academic performance.

Liam Lambert,from the United Kingdom, is an international student in the Class of 2019 (LL.M.) of KoGuan School of Law in Shanghai Jiao Tong University, who was awarded the 2020 Outstanding International Student Scholarship recently. Liam has consistently maintained an outstanding academic record, with great performance in corporate law, intellectual property law, international law, criminal law and law and society. At the same time, Liam devoted time to learning the Chinese culture that he loves and is proficient in Chinese. Whilst being an excellent graduate student, he actively participates in student associations and volunteering activities, and assists the school in carrying out various works.
