On December 3rd, all the LL.M. Program students in KoGuan Law School visited Minhang District People's Court and District Government.
 
This is a great opportunity for foreign students to gain first-hand knowledge of Chinese judicial system and government.
 
Students visited Minhang District People's Court first and watched the real court hearing live. Adjunct Professor Matthew Szymanski and Professor Lin Yan translated the case.
 
After lunch, Adjunct Professors Sun Chao and Matthew Szymanski gave a lecture about Chinese government and politics and answered questions raised by students.
 
Most students felt that it was a good opportunity for them to learn the real cases and some of them even wanted to do internship in the court and government office. They were deeply impressed by the field trip.
