Kazuo Iwasa, KoGuan Law’s Japanese LL.M. student, returned safely this week from Japan and resumed his study here. Kazuo is a lawyer in Japan. Three days after the earthquake and tsunami devastated Japan, Kazuo went back home in a hurry.
 
When Kazuo was in Japan, we at KoGuan had our fingers crossed and wished everything is fine with his family. Fortunately, Kazuo’s family members and close friends in Japan are all safe.
 
Kazuo said he appreciated the support and help from the Chinese rescue team and the Chinese people. Meanwhile he is also grateful for the love and care he received from law students and faculty here at KoGuan.
 
The KoGuan Law community would like to express our deepest condolences for the loss of life and property in Japan and best wishes for Kazuo, his family, and the Japanese people. You are not alone in the wake of the tragedy.
