KoGuan Delegation Successfully Visited Nine US Law Schools

From March 7th to 20th, the first KoGuan delegation in KoGuan history took a successful official visit to nine US law schools: the University of Wisconsin Law School, the University of Michigan Law School, Yale Law School, Cornell Law School, the University of Pennsylvania Law School, Duke University School of Law, Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, the University of California Hastings College of the Law, and the University of California Berkeley School of Law. The delegation is led by Dean Ji Weidong and the members include Vice Dean Xu Xianghua and Assistant Dean Xu Xiaobing.
 
The purposes of the KoGuan official visit are to seek exchange and cooperative opportunities with US academic institutions and to promote KoGuan Law's LL.M. Program in Chinese Law and summer programs. The delegation received warm welcome and held fruitful discussions with the US hosts on short- and long-term cooperative programs in the future.
 
In summarizing the two-week whirlwind visit, Dean Ji pointed out that legal education reform has both domestic and international perspectives. International collaboration will help to speed up domestic reform efforts. KoGuan Law School will continue to work with the US academic institutions to develop and execute partnerships as well as coordinate and collaborate on programs of mutual interests and benefits.
