Lomonosov Moscow State University visited KoGuan School of Law

On November 7th, Andrey Chetvertkov, head of The Department of International Cooperation, associate professor of The Faculty of Law of Lomonosov Moscow State University, and Kuzma Kichik, executive director of The Union of Graduates, associate professor of The Faculty of Law of Lomonosov Moscow State University, visited KoGuan School of Law. Prof. Cheng Jinhua, Vice Dean of KoGuan School of Law, hosted the guests at KoGuan Law School Building.

Prof. Cheng Jinhua welcomed the delegation of Lomonosov Moscow State University. Both sides engaged in a warm conversation, exchanging views on scholarly exchanges, student exchanges and joint research and looked forward to academic cooperation and international education in the future. Prof. Cheng Jinhua submitted that since KoGuan School of Law is among the most successful law schools in China, and the growth and success of our international programs is a key to the success of legal education at KoGuan School of Law, in the future, students will be encouraged to learn Russian, Russian culture and laws. KoGuan School of Law hope to establish a long-term friendship with Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Lomonosov Moscow State University, hereinafter referred to as "Moscow University", is the largest and oldest comprehensive institution of higher education in the Russian Federation, the academic center of Russia, and one of the top universities in Europe and the world. Founded in 1755 by M.B. Lomonosov, a famous educator in czarist Russia, the school has a long history and excellent academic tradition.

Moscow University is famous for its abundant teachers, perfect equipment, high teaching quality and high academic level. Up to now, a total of 13 people from Moscow University have won the Nobel Prize (9 graduates and 4 professors), and 6 graduates have won the Fields Medal. On June 19, 2019, 2020 QS world university ranking was released, and Moscow University ranked 84th in the world and ranked first in Russian.
