After months of hard work and preparation, the First English Moot Court Competition in KoGuan Law School will be held in the Moot Court Hall in the evening of December 30, 2009.

The event will be sponsored by the Legal Practical Training Center and organized by the Legal English Association. Two undergraduate law students and six graduate law students have participated in the preparation for the competition and they are divided into two debating teams. Five law faculty members will serve as the judges.

Based on the experience of the first English moot court competition, the Law School will launch a English Moot Court Program next year. The Program will coordinate and integrate the activities of the English moot court competition in the Law School, the annual Jessup moot court competition, and other English legal competitions in the future.
