About the Institute

The Institute of International Law was created in 2003. Its mission is to promote the study and understanding of public international law, private international law, and international economic law.

To this end, the Institute sponsors teaching, research, publication, visiting lecturers, seminars, conferences, the SJTU Journal of Transnational Law (in Chinese), the KoGuan team for the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and the dissemination of international law knowledge.

The Institute reflects the global perspective of KoGuan School of Law.
