Making a Gift to the Law Library of SJTU KoGuan Law School

Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Law was established on 2002 in one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in China. On September 20, 2008, to express our sincere thanks to the Leo KoGuan Foundation of the United States for its generous donation of USD 30 million for the development of legal education in Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University Law School was co-named as Shanghai Jiao Tong University KoGuan School of Law. As a young Law Library, outside donations make a tremendous difference every year. Such support has a direct impact on the Law Library's ability to offer an increasingly rich collection to our distinguished scholars and students and support KoGuan School of Law’s mission of teaching and research in law.

1. Books
We welcome donations of all kinds of law books, especially off-print books, books concerning the development of rule of law in China and Shanghai, American law books, etc. 

2. Other Materials
In addition to law books, we also welcome donations of other law materials or equipment, such as law journals, archives, historical items, CDs, films, internet resources, computer, software, and art work.

3. Cash or Cheque
Cash or cheque donations in support of the Law Library are also welcome and will be used solely for the development of the Law Library.

The names of all gift givers will be stamped or noted on the donated books or other materials. All donors will also be included in our annual donor list which will be published on the law library’s website as an expression of our sincere gratitude.
