Language Exchange Program

KoGuan Language Exchange Program (LEP)

Introduction

The KoGuan Language Exchange Program (LEP) is a free service provided through the International Programs Office (IPO). It aims to promote the exchange of language, culture and friendship between international and Chinese law students and members of the KoGuan community. It has two sub-programs: language exchange volunteers and language exchange partners.

  1. Language ExchangeVolunteers Program

Our language exchange volunteers are Chinese law students who offer their free services to help foreign law students to practice and improve their Chinese language skills.

This program will last throughout the academic year and is for KoGuan enrolled law students and scholars only. The program meetings take place in the LLM classroom at the second floor of KoGuan law building.

  1. Language Exchange Partners Program

KoGuan LEP also helps KoGuan law students and members of the community to find language exchange partners. If you're interested in learning, practising or mastering another language, want to learn about another culture and become a teacher of your own language, please apply for this program. Once you have completed the application form, KoGuan LEP will try to find a "language match" for you. When we find someone willing to exchange language with you, KoGuan LEP sends the email details to both participants.

To request a Language Exchange Partner, please complete the Partnership Application Form.  Please see the LEP Partnership Guide for tips on how to make the partnership work.
